Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 2 tbsp oil or butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp mustard (optional)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

Cook the Filling:
  1. Heat oil in a skillet. Add garlic paste, then flour. Stir for 1 min. Slowly whisk in milk to form a smooth sauce
Add Chicken & Spices:
  1. Add shredded chicken, mustard, pepper, chili flakes, and salt. Cook for 3–4 minutes until thick. Cool completely.
Prepare Pastry:
  1. Roll out puff pastry if needed. Cut into equal rectangles or squares.
Fill & Seal:
  1. Add a spoonful of chicken filling on one side of each piece. Fold, seal edges with a fork.
Bake:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place puffs on lined tray, brush with egg wash. Bake for 20–25 mins until golden brown
